We just made our annual trip to the Chocolate factory and cactus garden. We go every year with our good friends and it's something the kids look so forward to. This year we went a little earlier than usual, but it just got us more excited for Christmas. Santa was there and the kids got to tell him what they wanted so now we won't have to make special arrangements to see Santa. The lights were beautiful and the chocolate was delish!! The best part was being with friends that we don't get to see often. Thanks Cori, Blades, Mike and Juanita for a great night! Wish we could get together more often!

Bragging Rights
I was so lucky this weekend to attend Time out for Women in St. George. It was so wonderful to go and spend time with family and be surrounded by the spirit. My wonderful Mom got all the girls tickets for birthdays and we made the most of our time together. The talks and music were all wonderful and I came away from it feeling refreshed and full! I have such respect for each of the presenters to be able to share their messages in such a way that is entertaining yet so full of the spirit.
So I have lots to brag about, not just the fact that I have a wonderful Mom to do this for me, but the fact that Michael was so supportive. I'm sure staying home with the kids for the weekend wasn't his idea of fun, but he made the most of it. He played Soccer Mom all by himself and even took the kids to the park and out to dinner. I'm very thankful to him for making it possible for me to have a little ME time, he never gets time to himself and he definitely deserves it! Oh, the house was even clean when I got back. Laundry put away and dishes done. What a great Dad! The kids did miss me a little and it makes it so fun to come home to hugs and kisses, and know that they do miss me when I'm not around.
I was able to do a little Christmas shopping which was very nice, but the fun part was just being with my Mom and Sisters in Law. I even got to hang out with Angell from the Nelson side. What a blessing to be with such great women that I look up to and admire! Can't wait until Next year!!!
