Rain, Rain, go away. Come Back another day--or maybe not. The kids had fun playing in the rain, Hunter thought it was preatty cool! It was actually cold enough that we had to put on warm clothes. It was 100 degrees the other day. We found a few fun indoor things to do to--Michael joined in on painting. I think he had a better time than the kids did.

A to Z
Okay, I saw this on somebody elses blog and thought it was fun and since I've never done something like this I thought it might be interesting. Maybe I'll even learn something new about myself...
A-attached or single: Definitely attached to my Hubby Michael. We drive each other crazy, but I am so happy to be attached to him!
B-best friend: Michael and my Mom. They know all the good and BAD about me.
C-cake or pie: Definately Pie! Pumpkin, Chocolate, Apple--it doesn't matter the kind
D-day of choice: Thursday's--Michael's always off and we have no pre-school, dance, or commitments.
E-essential item: My Flatiron. My hair is not good without it.
F-favorite color: Blue, pink, yellow--Man, I don't know.
G-gummy bears or worms: Can't say as I'm a fan of either--I like chocolate better than candy. But if I had to choose it would be worms.
H-hometown: Panguitch, UT--although I only lived there for my senior year of high school. Now I better say that Henderson is home.
I-indulgence(s): I have a thing for frozen Kit kats. I just can't get enough lately--no wonder I can't loose the baby weight.
J-january or july: July in Utah! We seem to escape to Utah for a couple weeks in July once for the 4th then the 24th. July in Vegas stinks though!
K-kids: 3 crazy cuties. Haley, Hunter, and Harmon.
L-life is incomplete without: family to spend it with!
M-marriage date: December 8, 2001
N-number of siblings: I have 4 brothers who are great friends to me
O-oranges or apples: I love oranges, but I hate peeling them. It takes two days to get the rhine out of your nails.
P-phobias or fears: There's always that worry that something will happen to a member of my family. I try not to think about it.
Q-quotes: I have several favorties that are on sticky notes in my scriptures.
R-reason to smile: My kids playing together, my husband giving me a compliment, my baby sleeping thru the night. I could go on all day!
S-season of choice: Spring--the weather is perfect and we get to enjoy the outdoors and everything is fresh and new.
T-tag: I would tag anyone who reads this to do it on their blog so I can learn a little about them. Let me know if anyone does it.
U-unknown fact about me: I've recently become a blog stalker. Watch out I'm always on the prowl for blogging ideas.
V-very favorite store: I enjoy tai-pan, or any store I get to go to by myself.
W - worst habit: Eating late in the evening. After Michael goes to work I get bored and start grazing.
X-x-ray or ultrasound: Ultrasound for sure--I love seeing my babies for the first time.
Y-your favorite food: Chicken Marsla from Cheesecake Factory or a pork burrito from Cafe Rio
Z-zodiac sign: Libra, not that it really means anything.

Libby Lou
Well Haley is at the age where she is going to Birthday Parties. Her friend Tyler just had her birthday party at Libby Lou's. For those who don't know what that is--it's a place where little girls grow up way to fast! They go and get their hair, make-up, and nails done. Haley was so shy the whole time and hardly said a word, but my how she loved it. She chose the princess hair do and pink nail polish. I'm scared for the teenage years with her, I have a feeling she'll be a little high maitenence. She'll be talking about this party for weeks to come!
Mothers Day
Yes it has taken a week to update--Last weekend I was swept away with Mothers Day. I must say I was spoiled and it was soooo nice. Michael wanted to go shopping for me, but I convinced him that it would be great if I could go myself. I spent 3 hours shopping all by myself. It was a bit surreal, I really didn't know what to do with myself. The back seat felt so empty driving around, but it was a great time! I had forgotten what it was like to enter a dressing room without having kids climbing under the stalls and opening the door while half clothed. After a nice shopping trip we headed to Cheesecake Factory for Lunch. YUMMY is all I have to say! Then it was off to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. It was the perfect mothers day!! I love seeing my kids happy and looking at all the sharks, fish, and aligators made the day perfect!
I must say that in my enoyment of Mothers Day, I failed at paying tribute to my Mom. She is the greatest person I know and probably my best friend (along with Michael). The greatest compliment anyone can give me is that I remind them of her. If I can be just a quarter the mom she is, my kids will end up all right. I am so greatful for the things she has taught me and the patience she has for all my shortcomings. She is the greatest example and the most Christlike person I know! I love you Mom!

Realizations
10 Things I'v realized this week . . . . .
1. Pennies and electrical sockets don't match. Hunter helped me realize this, and now he realizes it as well after about 20 minutes in the naughty chair. I'm just glad he's okay!
2. I love watching my kids play with each other when they don't know I'm looking. Haley was the princess and Hunter was the Prince. They danced beautifully at the ball.
3. I'm not good at multi-tasking. I about burned Harmon as I was trying to cook dinner, hold him, and visit with my neighbor.
4. I need to relax when it comes to messes. I let the kids get the play-dough out and the look of sheer joy on their faces made my day. I really hate cleaning it up, but it was fun to see them happy.
5. Michael and I are both much happier when we get the sleep we need. (Okay I've known this for a while)
6. I am incredibliy average, or some people are just really lucky--especially when it comes to Bunco. I score right in the middle every time, but it's still fun to have a night out.
7. I'm living vicariously thru Haley--I have her enrolled in two dance classes. Ballet and Tap on Tuesday's and Hip Hop on Wednesday's. She's learning the cutest hip hop dance to The Hokey Pokey. I miss my dancing days. (Oh to be young and skinny again)
8. I spoiled Hunter way to much before Harmon got here--He still won't sleep thru the night, even though Harmon is.
9. I'm majorly out of shape. I did my Firm workout for the first time in quite a while and had a hard time making it thru the warm up.
10. I'm not a very good cook--I got a recipe for Salsa from my neighbor and bought fresh cilantro and garlic for the first time. I had to look up online how to cut them both up. I am a bland Utah cook that doesn't use any spices. I'm happy to say the Salsa turned out really good though. Now new challanges are ahead.
