Balloon Festival

The Balloon Festival was great as always.  This has become one of my favorite weekends of the whole year in Panguitch.  The weather is perfect and there are friends and family around to see.  Harm, Hayden, and I got up early on Saturday morning to see the balloons in the sky and boy was I glad we did.  We had the perfect view from the home my parents are renting and the balloons were all around us.  We were close enough to talk to the people in the balloons and one of these years I'm going to get the courage up to go get a ride!

Hayden wasn't to sure about the balloons, but he loves to be outside so it didn't matter.

This is the house my parents are staying in right now while waiting for the rebuild of their home and we thought we might even have one of the balloons land in the backyard.

Hello up there

The field out on river lane . . . the perfect landing spot!

The glow was fun.  It's hard to get pictures of all the balloons lined up and lighting at the same time, but it sure is fun to try!

Hunter and Harm both had to get on the Highway Patrol motorcycles.
My kids thought this guy was pretty funny!

Weekend Retreat

So the last weekend in June we headed to Panguitch for the weekend. These are pictures from our first day there celebrating my niece Tabby's Half-Birthday (Her real Birthday is the day after Christmas). More pictures to come from the rest of our trip and we even came home 2 kids lighter. Haley and Hunter stayed the week with Grandma and Grandpa. I'd like to say they missed Michael and I, but that would be wrong. They had so much fun playing and running around they didn't have time to miss us!

Harm ready for his ride.

Haley had just finished a soccer camp the day we left.  She loved it so much she had to wear her shirt up to Panguitch.  I was shocked she loved it so much.  They said it was 130 degrees out on that turf they were playing on.  She's a trooper!

Cameron with Parker--seeing how high he is makes me a little nervous :)  Good thing Cam's a good catch

Hunter is our animal lover and was very anxious to get on that horse!

This was day 1----more to come!

Better late than Never

So there was a day back in early June when we had Hunter's last T-ball game, Haley's team party, and Hunter's team party.  Maybe it's taken me so long to blog about it because I'm still trying to recover.  It was a long fun day with some very excited kids.  It is always fun to see them get so excited about getting trophies and just celebrating the fact that they worked hard all season!
Hunt ready to hit at his last game.

I still think he looks like a bobblehead.  He's so small!

Yep that's my kid!  He's not going to let that first basemen stop him!

Harm's little girlfriend Hannah.  They are a mischievous little couple!

This girl LOVED playing softball and can't wait to play again!

At the Red Sox party Michael surprised me with some gift cards and flowers to say Thanks for being the Team Mom.  It was so thoughtful and sweet!  I'm a lucky girl!

The Many Faces of Harm

This little 3yr old is such a character!  He keeps us laughing, yelling, and wondering constantly.  There's never a dull moment when Harmon's around!  He's just so cute I can't help but show some of his sparkling personality :)

Yep that's my boy!

Summer Fun

When you live in Las Vegas you don't go outside without being in the water.  Soooo this is how we started the summer off when trying to stay cool.  As  you can see the kids are in heaven!

Forever Family

We had a special trip to the St. George Temple on Friday night with all my brothers and their wives.  It is such a special event to gather in the temple with those you want to spend eternity with.  It was the first time we'd been together in the temple since my youngest brother Cameron got married.  My Mom has been requesting this to happen every year on her birthday and it's been tough to get everyones schedules together.  It was also nice to have some time with Marc as he's leaving for Iraq next week with the National Guard.  We'll be praying for his safe return home everyday!  Troy also needs a few prayers as he was just called as the Bishop of his ward.  He'll do an amazing job and I'm sure it will be a great learning experience for him!  Cameron is starting a new job and David is trying to finish their new home and my parents are also trying to get into a new home after loosing theirs to a fire.  So as you can tell an escape to the temple is just what everyone needed to escape from the pressures of life for a while.  Michael and I just enjoyed getting away and remembering our wedding and thanking Heavenly Father for our 4 little monsters :)

Sorry David and Becky--I got distracted and didn't get a picture of you two.

The Grad!

Wow life happens so fast!  Hunter just graduated from Pre-School which means he is READY for Kindergarten.  He is so excited and has loved every minute of pre-school.  He has learned so much and is ready for school EVERY day.  Let's hope he doesn't change his mind next year when it actually happens :)
Samuel, Karly, and Hunter

As a baby Hunter used to cry hysterically anytime anyone sang anything.   It didn't matter if it was church, home, or in the car he would scream everytime you sang.  Just this year he decided it was okay to sing and now we can't keep him quiet!  He sings in the tub, car, and when he's playing by himself.  He's to funny!

Cute little Grad!

Hunt and Samo with their "Degrees"

This is a scary bunch.  I have a feeling they are going to get in some trouble together when they get older!
